Orissa Water Supply & Sewerage Board (OWSSB), Bhubaneswar is implementing the Integrated Sewerage Project in Bhubaneswar City.
The objective of the project is to improve the Sewerage facility in Bhubaneswar City covering an estimated population of 22 lakhs (2041) over an area of 145 sq.km.
Bhubaneswar Sewerage System is divided into six sewerage districts for implementation of integrated sewerage system each district having its own and Sewer Network ,Sewerage Treatment Plant       and Sewage Pumping Stations.

Bhubaneswar sewerage system is segregated into 6 sewerage districts as Dist. -I , II, III, IV, V ,VI. The       sewerage system work is under progress in each district except Dist. V.

  • Dist. -III- 43.5 MLD (Work under progress)

o Pumping Stations: 20 Nos. (Including MHPS)

o STP : 1 No 48 MLD STP at Rokat, Bhubaneswar
